One of the best things my wife had the presence of mind to do (she always has the presence of mind, I just tend to be wise after the event!) was buy a new digital camera before our son was born. We have very little photos of ourselves before then, but since we have thousands. Amongst them are such gems as this. It seemed to be the fashion, in our son's first few weeks of life, to take candid shots of each other asleep with our baby, mostly on the sofa. Can't remember why we kept falling asleep...
